KARACHI: According to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) all old designed currency notes of Rs 10, Rs 50, Rs 100 and Rs 1000 will cease to be legal tender from December 01 this year.
This was said by SBP in a press release on Saturday. The people have been asked to exchange these old designed currency notes from banks till November 30. The old designed currency notes will only be exchanged from field offices of central bank after November 30.
