ISLAMABAD: Six membered Scotland Yard team came to FIA headquarters and met Director of FIA (Sindh) Shahid Hayat in order to talk about Imran Farooq murder.
Both sides have exchanged information regarding the evidences found in the case of money laundering that has been handled by the Scotland Yard, sourced told. Other people involved in the case such as MQM’s Muhammad Anwar are also being discussed in this meeting as told by the sources.
One of the six members from Scotland Yard was a legal expert who especially came to meet Shahid Hayat. Shahid Hayat also acknowledged the Scotland Yard team concerning the money laundering cases that were registered in Karachi.
UK-based entrepreneur Sarfraz Merchant arrived Pakistan a couple of days ago. He gave his statement concerning MQM’s suspected links with Indian intelligence agency RAW, with Joint Investigation Team (JIT). He is co-accused for the money laundering case along with other senior MQM leadership members.
